A meeting is currently underway at the headquarters of the Somali Disaster Management Agency (SoDMA), chaired by the Minister of Interior, Federal Affairs and Reconciliation of the Federal Government of Somalia, Mr. Ali Yusuf Ali (Hosh).

The meeting is attended by members of the Federal Cabinet, the Commissioner of SoDMA, the Banadir Regional Administration, religious scholars, civil society representatives, and business leaders.

The meeting is discussing the government’s preparedness for Super El Niño, the opening and clearing of waterways, and strengthening the National Disaster Risk Management Fund.
