The Somali Disaster Management Agency (SoDMA) extends its congratulations and prayers to all Somali people and Muslims around the world on the occasion of the beginning of the blessed month of Ramadan.

This holy month has arrived at a time when our communities are facing difficult living conditions and the impacts of drought. The Agency’s senior leadership calls on the Somali public to strengthen solidarity, charity, and compassion in order to support vulnerable families and individuals.

The Agency also reaffirms its commitment to continue relief and preparedness efforts to reduce the impact of ongoing hardships throughout the blessed month.
