Officials from the Somali Disaster Management Agency held a meeting at the agency’s headquarters with representatives from the Somali Field Epidemiology Network and the Ministry of Health.

The meeting focused on strengthening cooperation among institutions working in health and disaster management, with particular emphasis on monitoring and preventing infectious diseases, integrating health data, conducting research on the impact of disasters, and enhancing preparedness for emergencies.

In the end, the parties agreed to strengthen collaboration and data sharing in order to safeguard the health of the Somali people.
