The Commissioner of the Somali Disaster Management Agency (SoDMA), Mr. Mahmoud Moallin Abdulle, accompanied by the Galmudug Drought Relief Committee, reached Wisil District in Mudug Region on the third day of his drought response mission.

The SoDMA Commissioner handed over 125 water trucks to the Wisil District Drought Committee to ensure water supply reaches communities living in rural areas and surrounding settlements severely affected by the ongoing drought.

Finally, the Commissioner personally oversaw emergency water distribution to rural residents, where he met families facing extremely difficult living conditions. He called upon the Somali public to support their brothers and sisters impacted by the drought, especially during this blessed month.
