The Somali Disaster Management Agency (SoDMA) conveyed an official message of condolence to the State of Qatar.

The Head of Projects at SoDMA, Dr. Ismail Jimcaale, accompanied by the Assistant Commissioner of the Somali Disaster Management Agency, Abdirahman Mohamed Hussein, who represented the Commissioner, Mr. Mahmoud Moallim Abdulle, today visited the Embassy of the State of Qatar in Somalia to deliver the condolence message.

The delegation extended its sympathies to the Government and people of Qatar following the passing of the former Amir of Qatar, Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani. During the visit, Dr. Ismail Jimcaale signed the embassy’s book of condolences on behalf of SoDMA.

At the conclusion of the visit, the Deputy Ambassador of the Embassy of Qatar expressed appreciation to SoDMA, its leadership, and the Somali people for their condolences and solidarity.
