The Commissioner of the Somali Disaster Management Agency (SoDMA), Mr. Mahmoud Moallim Abdulle, together with the Deputy Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General for Somalia and Humanitarian Coordinator, George Conway, chaired the monthly meeting focused on reviewing the country’s humanitarian situation.

The meeting, attended by senior officials from United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) and Somali Disaster Management Agency, discussed the latest humanitarian developments across the country and ways to strengthen relief efforts to address the needs of vulnerable communities.

Finally, the Commissioner of Somali Disaster Management Agency, Mr. Mahmoud Moallim Abdulle, highlighted the importance of the meeting in coordinating and accelerating humanitarian operations nationwide, emphasizing the need for continued collaboration to deliver effective assistance to people affected by various crises.
