The Somali Disaster Management Agency (SoDMA) held a consultation in Mogadishu with Federal Government ministries and institutions to discuss the approval of the Recovery and Risk-Informed Resilience Function framework.

The meeting was opened by SoDMA Head of Project Development, Dr. Ismaaciil Jimcaale, who emphasized the importance of intergovernmental cooperation and strengthening national capacity to anticipate and manage risks.

Participants also reviewed the framework and discussed ways to strengthen coordination among government institutions in risk management, recovery, and building national resilience.
