The Leader of the South West State of Somalia, H.E. Sheikh Adan Mohamed Nur (Madobe), received a high-level delegation led by the Commissioner of the Somali Disaster Management Agency (SoDMA), Mr. Mahmoud Moallim Abdulle, at the Presidential Palace in Baidoa. The delegation also included the Ministers of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management from Somalia’s Federal Member States.

The delegation arrived in Baidoa to participate in the Country Humanitarian Forum (CHF 2026), which is set to officially open tomorrow. The meeting focused on final preparations for the forum and strengthening cooperation and coordination in humanitarian affairs.

Also present at the meeting was the South West State Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management, Mr. Abdinasir Abdi Caruush.

At the conclusion of the meeting, SoDMA Commissioner Mr. Mahmoud Moallim Abdulle expressed his appreciation to the leadership of South West State for their warm reception and for their efforts in preparing to host the Country Humanitarian Forum (CHF 2026). He praised their commitment to successfully hosting this important national event.
