An international training program on disaster preparedness and prevention officially opened today in Beijing, with Somali Disaster Management Agency (SoDMA) representing Somalia.
The training, which will run until 21 July, focuses on strengthening the capacity of government institutions in disaster forecasting, preparedness, and emergency response by drawing on China’s expertise and advanced disaster management practices.
