The Commissioner of the Somali Disaster Management Agency (SoDMA), Mr. Mahmoud Moalim Abdulle, today held a meeting at the agency’s headquarters with the Rector of Mogadishu University, Dr. Ibrahim Mohamed Mursal, along with other officials.

The meeting focused on preparations for the upcoming Somalia Disaster Resilience Conference, which is jointly organized every year by Mogadishu University and SoDMA.

During the meeting, participants reviewed the achievements of last year’s conference, the research papers presented, and the significance of the conference in addressing the country’s current challenges.

Finally, the Commissioner of SoDMA, Mr. Mahmoud Moalim Abdulle, commended the Somalia Disaster Resilience Conference scheduled for October this year, praising the strong partnership with Mogadishu University.
