Mogadishu — The Conference on Drought Response and Food Security has concluded in Mogadishu following constructive discussions and a productive exchange of information between government institutions and international partners.
During the conference, participants held in-depth deliberations on the country’s evolving drought conditions and the growing risks of food insecurity. The meeting underscored the need to strengthen coordination and partnership, while also accelerating drought response efforts to reach the most affected communities.
At the close of the conference, participants agreed to consolidate the outcomes and recommendations into a unified set of priorities to support practical, effective actions addressing the challenges caused by the drought across Somalia.
