𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗣𝗮𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀: The Somali Disaster Management Agency (SoDMA) in Partner with the Mogadishu University جامعة مقديشو have announced the 3rd Somalia Disaster Resilience Conference to be held on 13th up 14th October 2026.

The Conference will focus on “From Recurrent Shocks to Sustainable Resilience in Somalia.”

The Conference will be held annually, and it addresses Disaster Risk Management challenges. Academics and experts will discuss building resilient communities. Researchers are invited to submit papers.

This year’s conference will explore how Somalia can break the cycle of recurrent shocks by advancing anticipatory action, strengthening institutional systems, and promoting sustainable recovery and resilience pathways.
