Today, H.E. Hamsa Abdi Barre, the Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, took a significant step toward progress by formally laying the foundation stone for eight vital projects.
These initiatives are set to be implemented in Laascaanood and throughout the SSC-Khaatumo administrative areas, marking a commitment to development and improvement in these regions.
The Prime Minister emphasized the critical need to prioritize services that significantly benefit the Somali people. By focusing on these essential projects, we can enhance social cohesion and governance, ultimately establishing a strong foundation for our country’s economic growth and sustainable development.
The projects that have been launched are:
- The National Emergency Operations centre (SoDMA).
- Immigration and Citizenship Center (Laascaanood Branch)
- Police headquarters in SSC-Khaatumo
- Sayid Mohamed Technical Training Center
- A tarmac road linking Samakaab and Buuhoodle.
- Various SSC-Khaatumo administrative offices
- SSC-Khaatumo Presidential Palace
- The SSC-Khaatumo hospital
Prime Minister Hamza expressed satisfaction with the development of these vital facilities, emphasizing their role in delivering essential government services. He assured the public that the government is committed to initiating even more projects in the future.
