Commissioner @MahamuudMoallim received over 1,300 tons of food aid from the Chinese Ambassador to Somalia, @AmbWangYu, during a brief event at the SoDMA warehouse today.

The Chinese government is committed to supporting the people of Somalia during challenging times, particularly in anticipation of the upcoming #LaNiña drought. This reflects China’s ongoing efforts to assist Somalia in similar circumstances in the past.

During his keynote address at the handover ceremony, the Commissioner expressed his gratitude to the citizens, the government, and the Chinese ambassador to Somalia for their invaluable assistance and unwavering commitment to safeguarding our nation’s sovereignty.
