Today, SoDMA Commissioner Mahamuud Moallim and Dr. ENkurunziza, the Director-General of RCMRD, have officially signed an MOU to enhance collaboration in early warning systems and anticipatory approaches to disaster management.
The RCMRD, established in 1975, counts Somalia among its five founding nations. Consequently, the agreement signed today by both parties will play a pivotal role in restoring Somalia’s standing and dignity within the regional and international community.
