The Muslim World League Organization, in collaboration with Somali Disaster Management Agency (SoDMA), has taken proactive steps to support vulnerable families in the capital affected by recent heavy rains.

The two entities distributed a variety of essential food supplies to those in need, including families displaced by conflict and famine in the Garasbaley district.

This initiative aims to provide relief and assist communities in recovering from these challenging circumstances.

A total of 1,838 families have benefited from the assistance provided by the institution, with 1,038 families in Mogadishu receiving support and an additional 800 families in Galkayo City also helped. This outreach aims to improve the lives of many families in these communities
