Director Jamaal Salaad Mohamed, from the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management of the Jubaland State, presented a report at the National Drought Management Coordination Committee (NDMCC) meeting on the drought situation in the regions of Jubaland.
Mr. Jamaal Salaad Mohamed stated that the drought has reached a critical level, severely affecting the lives of people and livestock, and requires an urgent response. He further emphasized the importance of national coordination, emergency humanitarian assistance, and strong inter-agency collaboration to effectively address the needs arising from the drought.
