Commissioner Mahamoud Moallim welcomed the new Ambassador of the State of Palestine, Rowaid Adil Mohamed, in his office. He was joined by the Chairman of the Somali Clerics, Sh. Bashir Ahmed Salad, and Vice-Chairman Sh. Ali Mahamud Hassan (Wajis).

The meeting focused on ways for the Government and Somali people to support Palestinians affected by conflict and displacement, highlighting their commitment to advocating for freedom and sovereignty.

Mr. Mahamoud congratulated Ambassador Rowaid on his new position, to which the ambassador thanked the Somali people for their continued support of Palestine.
