The Assistant Commissioner of the Somali Disaster Management Agency (SoDMA), Abdirahman Mohamed Hussein, representing the Commissioner of SoDMA, Mr. Mahmoud Moallim Abdulle, together with the Banadir Regional Administration and the Director of Qatar Charity, Abdifatah Aden Moallin, jointly launched the 1447H Qurbani Project.

The project will benefit 87,600 people, including internally displaced persons and vulnerable communities across the country.

Somali Disaster Management Agency urged Qatar Charity to ensure the delivery and fair distribution of the sacrificial meat to all affected people across the Federal Member States and the Banadir Region, enabling vulnerable displaced families in cities across the country to benefit from the assistance.

For his part, Abdifatah Aden Moallin, Director of Qatar Charity, pledged that they would ensure the aid reaches the most deserving beneficiaries and emphasized their commitment to further strengthening cooperation with Somali Disaster Management Agency.
