The National Disaster Management Coordination Committee (NDMCC) meeting was held in Mogadishu, bringing together officials, officers from the Somali Disaster Management Agency (SoDMA), and local organizations.

The meeting focused on issues related to disaster management in the country, strengthening institutional cooperation, and finding sustainable solutions to challenges arising from various disasters.

Dr. Ismail Jumale, Head of Projects at SoDMA, officially inaugurated the meeting and emphasized the importance of collaboration and coordinated efforts in disaster response and disaster risk reduction.
