The Somali Disaster Management Agency (SoDMA), in cooperation with the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs of the South West State, today carried out a water-trucking operation in Hawen, an area under Baidoa in the Bay Region, to support communities severely affected by drought.
This water assistance is intended to benefit families living in the area who are facing water shortages caused by the drought affecting the region.
SoDMA is also continuing humanitarian response operations across different regions of the country, including food distribution and water trucking, in an effort to save vulnerable people affected by the drought.
