Hirshabelle President Opens the Country Humanitarian Forum (CHF) in Jowhar

Hirshabelle State President, H.E Ali Gudlawe Hussein, officially inaugurated the Country Humanitarian Forum today in Jowhar, the capital of Hirshabelle.

The event brought together key figures including the Commissioner of the Somali Disaster Management Agency (SoDMA), Mr. Mahamud Moallim Abdulle, ministers of humanitarian affairs from federal member states, United Nations representatives, humanitarian organizations, civil society actors, local leaders, and members of international agencies.

Organized by SoDMA, the forum serves as a critical platform for government bodies, federal member states, local and international organizations to coordinate and accelerate humanitarian responses, and to develop strategies for disaster preparedness and mitigation across the country.
