Today, H.E. Ahmed Abdi Kariye Qoorqoor, the President of Galmudug State, visited SoDMA, where he was warmly welcomed by Commissioner Mahamoud Moallim. This visit marks a positive step towards enhancing collaboration and support in the region.

The President and his delegation received a briefing on the Agency’s activities, focusing on the ongoing drought, counter-Kharijite operations in Galmudug, and areas for improving humanitarian response. They also emphasized SoDMA’s proactive relief efforts to address these challenges.

Mr. Qorqoor is set to host the upcoming Country Humanitarian Forum on the 22nd of this month in Galkayo, in the Mudug region.

During his recent visit, the President engaged with various departments of the Agency, conducting a comprehensive meeting with its leadership.

The President expressed gratitude for the ongoing efforts and dedication demonstrated by SoDMA in advancing humanitarian initiatives across the country.
