SoDMA Commissioner mr. Mahamoud Moallim Abdulle held a meeting with Abdiwali Abdulle, the Director General of National Identification and Registration Authority – NIRA Somalia, where they discussed cooperation between the two agencies in the registration of IDPs.

During the meeting, the two sides underscored the need for the government to consider waiving registration fees for the IDPs. This initiative aims to minimize the risk of aid diversion and ensure assistance reaches the intended people.

The two agencies have agreed to enhance their collaboration to safeguard and support vulnerable IDPs.
