{"id":9953,"date":"2026-08-27T09:23:13","date_gmt":"2026-08-27T09:23:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sodma.gov.so\/eng\/?p=9953"},"modified":"2026-08-27T09:23:13","modified_gmt":"2026-08-27T09:23:13","slug":"sodma-commissioner-launches-impaact-project-to-strengthen-early-warning-and-anticipatory-action","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sodma.gov.so\/eng\/sodma-commissioner-launches-impaact-project-to-strengthen-early-warning-and-anticipatory-action\/","title":{"rendered":"SoDMA Commissioner Launches IMPAACT Project to Strengthen Early Warning and Anticipatory Action"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"PDq2pG_selectionAnchorContainer\" data-start=\"101\" data-end=\"376\">The Commissioner of the Somali Disaster Management Agency (SoDMA), Mr. Mahmoud Moallim Abdulle, today launched the <strong data-start=\"216\" data-end=\"235\">IMPAACT Project<\/strong> in Mogadishu, aimed at strengthening early warning systems, risk forecasting, and anticipatory actions to mitigate the impacts of disasters.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"378\" data-end=\"534\">The launch was attended by representatives from <strong data-start=\"426\" data-end=\"533\">DG ECHO, ICPAC, ACF, SCAP, the Federal Government of Somalia, and humanitarian and development partners<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"536\" data-end=\"874\">The SoDMA Commissioner, Mr. Mahmoud Moallim Abdulle, noted that Somalia continues to face drought, floods, displacement, food insecurity, and the impacts of climate change.
