In his closing remarks, he emphasized the importance of implementing the National Multi-Hazard Early Warning System to strengthen Somalia&#8217;s disaster preparedness and emergency response capacity.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"597\" data-end=\"981\">The workshop brought together representatives from ministries of the Federal Government of Somalia, officials from <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Somali Disaster Management Agency<\/span><\/span> (SoDMA), and the <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Intergovernmental Authority on Development<\/span><\/span>.
