{"id":9168,"date":"2026-05-21T11:43:31","date_gmt":"2026-05-21T11:43:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sodma.gov.so\/eng\/?p=9168"},"modified":"2026-05-21T11:43:31","modified_gmt":"2026-05-21T11:43:31","slug":"sodma-and-qatar-red-crescent-launch-1447h-qurbani-project-for-vulnerable-idp-communities-in-banaadir","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sodma.gov.so\/eng\/sodma-and-qatar-red-crescent-launch-1447h-qurbani-project-for-vulnerable-idp-communities-in-banaadir\/","title":{"rendered":"SoDMA and Qatar Red Crescent Launch 1447H Qurbani Project for Vulnerable IDP Communities in Banaadir"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-start=\"0\" data-end=\"372\">The Assistant Commissioner for Arab Affairs at the Somali Disaster Management Agency (SoDMA), <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Abdirahman Mohamed Hussein<\/span><\/span>, together with the Deputy Ambassador of the State of Qatar, <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Rashid Al-Abdallah<\/span><\/span>, and officials from the <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Qatar Red Crescent Society<\/span><\/span>, jointly launched the 1447H Qurbani Project organized by the Qatar Red Crescent.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"374\" data-end=\"483\">The project will benefit 52,800 vulnerable internally displaced persons (IDPs) living in the Banaadir region.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"485\" data-end=\"748\"><span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Abdirahman Mohamed Hussein<\/span><\/span> stated that SoDMA will ensure the delivery and distribution of the Qurbani meat across all Federal Member States and the Banaadir region so that vulnerable displaced communities in urban areas can benefit from the assistance.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"750\" data-end=\"1145\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">The Deputy Ambassador of Qatar, <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Rashid Al-Abdallah<\/span><\/span>, and the Head of the <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Qatar Red Crescent Society<\/span><\/span>, <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Dr. Fatih Zaki<\/span><\/span>, praised SoDMA\u2019s efforts in ensuring humanitarian aid reaches the most vulnerable groups.
