The Somali Disaster Management Agency (SoDMA), in collaboration with the African Development Bank (AfDB), has concluded a two-day meeting in Mogadishu aimed at validating the results of the Gender Audit for the Africa Disaster Risk Financing Project.<\/p>\n

The meeting placed particular emphasis on the importance of strengthening gender equality and ensuring inclusive participation of communities in climate change-related activities and disaster risk management efforts.<\/p>\n

Finally, SoDMA officials urged participants to enhance coordination among institutions and ensure that women and vulnerable groups fully benefit from disaster prevention and response initiatives.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n
