She lives in areas under the Mudug region, where the drought has severely affected communities.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"190\" data-end=\"435\">She explained that due to the failure of the <strong data-start=\"235\" data-end=\"264\">Gu and Deyr rainy seasons<\/strong> this year, the livestock on which their livelihood depended have largely perished. She said that out of <strong data-start=\"369\" data-end=\"406\">120 goats and about 40 young ones<\/strong>, only <strong data-start=\"413\" data-end=\"434\">18 animals remain<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"437\" data-end=\"658\">When traveling through this area, the effects of the drought are clearly visible. The carcasses of livestock are scattered everywhere.
