{"id":8631,"date":"2026-03-03T13:51:56","date_gmt":"2026-03-03T13:51:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sodma.gov.so\/eng\/?p=8631"},"modified":"2026-03-03T13:53:39","modified_gmt":"2026-03-03T13:53:39","slug":"the-sodma-commissioner-delivers-100-water-trucks-to-the-drought-committee-of-af-barwaaqo-district","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sodma.gov.so\/eng\/the-sodma-commissioner-delivers-100-water-trucks-to-the-drought-committee-of-af-barwaaqo-district\/","title":{"rendered":"The SoDMA Commissioner Delivers 100 Water Trucks to the Drought Committee of Af-Barwaaqo District"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-start=\"103\" data-end=\"415\">The Commissioner of the Somali Disaster Management Agency (SoDMA), Mr. <strong data-start=\"174\" data-end=\"201\">Mahmoud Moallim Abdulle<\/strong>, accompanied by the <strong data-start=\"222\" data-end=\"259\">Galmudug Drought Relief Committee<\/strong>, and currently on the <strong data-start=\"282\" data-end=\"295\">fifth day<\/strong> of a drought response mission across Galmudug areas, arrived today in <strong data-start=\"366\" data-end=\"390\">Af-Barwaaqo District<\/strong> in the <strong data-start=\"398\" data-end=\"414\">Mudug Region<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"417\" data-end=\"691\">The SoDMA Commissioner, Mr. Mahmoud Moallim, handed over <strong data-start=\"474\" data-end=\"494\">100 water trucks<\/strong> to the <strong data-start=\"502\" data-end=\"541\">Af-Barwaaqo District Administration<\/strong> and the <strong data-start=\"550\" data-end=\"580\">district drought committee<\/strong> to support people who have been severely affected by the drought in the district and its surrounding villages.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"693\" data-end=\"1076\">During his stay in the district, the Commissioner visited areas facing <strong data-start=\"764\" data-end=\"796\">very harsh living conditions<\/strong>, where <strong data-start=\"804\" data-end=\"822\">severe drought<\/strong> and the effects of <strong data-start=\"842\" data-end=\"860\">climate change<\/strong> have combined.
