Approximately 6.5 million people are suffering from food insecurity, while more than 2 million people are in life-threatening conditions, with malnutrition continuing to rise.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"778\" data-end=\"1295\">The meeting was attended by the Commissioner of the somali Disaster Management Agency (SoDMA), Mr. Mahmoud Moallim Abdulle, who delivered a briefing on the humanitarian situation in the country, particularly the impact of the prolonged drought on Somali communities.
