The launch brought together representatives from <strong data-start=\"375\" data-end=\"402\" data-is-only-node=\"\">government institutions<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"404\" data-end=\"430\">international partners<\/strong>, and <strong data-start=\"436\" data-end=\"459\">local organizations<\/strong>, reflecting a strong commitment to coordinated disaster risk management.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"534\" data-end=\"924\">During the meeting, the <strong data-start=\"558\" data-end=\"622\">Director of the Disaster Risk Management Department at SoDMA<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"624\" data-end=\"653\">Mr. Khadar Sheikh Mohamed<\/strong>, highlighted the purpose of the gathering and the significance of activating the NTWGAA. He explained that the working group will play a vital role in <strong data-start=\"805\" data-end=\"870\">strengthening disaster prevention, preparedness, and response<\/strong>, while improving coordination among key stakeholders.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"926\" data-end=\"1179\">The <strong data-start=\"930\" data-end=\"949\">two-day meeting<\/strong> will focus on clarifying the <strong data-start=\"979\" data-end=\"1019\">mandate, roles, and responsibilities<\/strong> of the working group, identifying <strong data-start=\"1054\" data-end=\"1081\">priority disaster risks<\/strong>, and developing a <strong data-start=\"1100\" data-end=\"1125\">practical action plan<\/strong> to enhance national disaster risk prevention efforts.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1181\" data-end=\"1537\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">In his remarks, Dr. Ahmed Abdi Aadan emphasized that <strong data-start=\"1234\" data-end=\"1273\">early action and collective efforts<\/strong> are essential to minimizing the impacts of natural disasters, particularly <strong data-start=\"1349\" data-end=\"1372\">droughts and floods<\/strong>. He noted that the NTWGAA will serve as a <strong data-start=\"1415\" data-end=\"1437\">strategic platform<\/strong> for aligning stakeholders and strengthening Somalia\u2019s preparedness and
