The Minister noted that the conference highlights the importance of the Somali community\u2019s self-determination, and the collaboration between government and academic institutions, to create a society that is resilient to disasters.<\/p>\n<p>The conference, jointly organized by SoDMA and the University of Mogadishu, presented plans that are widely supported by the community, as they are based on research and real analysis to address disasters and calamities in the country.
