This initiative represents a proactive step towards building safer and more sustainable environments for our communities.<\/p>\n<p>The training is a collaborative effort primarily supported by PLAN International and organized in partnership with the Disaster Research and Training Center of SoDMA. Its objective is to enhance the skills of the agency&#8217;s staff, empowering them to effectively respond to emergencies caused by climate change and other natural hazards.<\/p>\n<p>Throughout the training, employees from various departments at SoDMA will enhance their knowledge and skills in the following areas:<\/p>\n<p>\u29bf How to reduce disaster risk (DRR)<\/p>\n<p>\u29bf Effective ways of dealing with emergencies.<\/p>\n<p>\u29bf Building societies that are socially and environmentally resilient.<\/p>\n<p>\u29bf Strategies related to adaptation to climate change.<\/p>\n<p>This initiative aims to empower our workforce and strengthen our collective capability to address these critical challenges.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Hassan Isse emphasized that the training embodies SoDMA&#8217;s strategic vision to establish a comprehensive national system designed for prevention, response, and recovery.
