{"id":10357,"date":"2026-09-30T18:06:11","date_gmt":"2026-09-30T18:06:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sodma.gov.so\/eng\/?p=10357"},"modified":"2026-10-04T18:10:37","modified_gmt":"2026-10-04T18:10:37","slug":"sodma-opens-el-nino-preparedness-meeting-in-baidoa","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sodma.gov.so\/eng\/sodma-opens-el-nino-preparedness-meeting-in-baidoa\/","title":{"rendered":"SoDMA Opens El Ni\u00f1o Preparedness Meeting in Baidoa"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"PDq2pG_selectionAnchorContainer\" dir=\"auto\" data-start=\"60\" data-end=\"278\"><strong data-start=\"60\" data-end=\"80\">Baidoa, Somalia:<\/strong> Commissioner of the Somali Disaster Management Agency (SoDMA), <strong data-start=\"144\" data-end=\"176\">Mr. Mahmoud Ma\u2019allin Abdulle<\/strong>, today opened a meeting in Baidoa focused on preparedness for the anticipated <strong data-start=\"255\" data-end=\"277\">El Ni\u00f1o conditions<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\" data-start=\"280\" data-end=\"559\">Organized by the South West State Ministry of Planning, the meeting brought together representatives from various South West State ministries, regional and district authorities, international and local organizations to strengthen preparedness and coordination for flood response.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\" data-start=\"561\" data-end=\"850\">Speaking at the meeting, Commissioner Mahmoud Ma\u2019allin Abdulle emphasized that preparedness cannot wait until a disaster occurs.
