Discussions focused particularly on strengthening preparedness and flood response plans, mobilizing humanitarian assistance, and ensuring that early warnings and risk information reach vulnerable communities, especially those living in remote areas.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\" data-start=\"801\" data-end=\"1117\">The forum also emphasized the importance of coordination and collaboration among the Federal Government, Federal Member States, and humanitarian organizations to ensure early action is taken and to reduce the potential impacts of flooding, displacement, and humanitarian emergencies associated with <strong data-start=\"1100\" data-end=\"1116\">El Ni\u00f1o 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\" data-start=\"1119\" data-end=\"1329\">The Commissioner of SoDMA, <strong data-start=\"1146\" data-end=\"1178\">Mr. Mahmoud Macallin Abdulle<\/strong>, stated that the time has come for Somali communities to demonstrate unity and mobilize fully to prevent and reduce the risks associated with El Ni\u00f1o.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\" data-start=\"1331\" data-end=\"1722\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">In his closing remarks, the <strong data-start=\"1359\" data-end=\"1483\">Minister of Interior, Federal Affairs and Reconciliation of the Federal Government of Somalia, Hon.
