The Somali Disaster Management Agency (SoDMA) has successfully delivered food assistance to 400 vulnerable families residing in the Garasbaaley district of Mogadishu.

The assistance, which consisted of rice donated by the Government of the People’s Republic of China through ChinaAid, was distributed to internally displaced persons (IDPs) and other at-risk families in need of humanitarian support.

This initiative aims to alleviate food shortages and improve the living conditions of vulnerable communities affected by economic and climatic challenges.

SoDMA remains committed to coordinating humanitarian efforts and strengthening partnerships with international and local stakeholders to ensure timely and effective delivery of assistance to those most in need.
